We are on the search for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our well-established and respected metal manufacturing client site located in Thomastown . This is a full-time temp-to-perm opportunity , ideal for a trade-qualified fitter with a hands-on approach to mechanical maintenance. Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour Location: Thomastown, VIC Hours: Monday to Friday | 8-hour shift | Flexible start (any time between 7 am-10 am) Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance Fault-find and repair mechanical systems quickly and effectively Work alongside production teams to minimise downtime Support equipment improvements and upgrades Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness Complete routine reports and documentation Ensure plant equipment runs reliably and efficiently To succeed in this role : Hands-on experience in an industrial maintenance setting Mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Previous welding fabrication experience will be looked upon favourably Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is beneficial Valid Australian driver's licence If you're a mechanically skilled fitter with solid industrial experience and looking for a stable, long-term role in a supportive environment - Apply today!
